Next day follow-up....
I discovered that the original carburetor was out of adjustment a little bit....
seems that the metering valve underneath the diaphram for the fuel needle
was about 1/16" too low... this was creating a leaning out scenario making the rpms
sporatic... On "WT" series carbs the meting valve lever should be flush with the surrounding
metal inside the carb..... don't know how this got out of adjustment, but it happened....
I got it fixed now..... (notice in the next set of pics & video, that the carb with the blue
throttle arm is installed on the engine again).... sounds like it's good to go!
